How to subscribe to smokestop
To register as a new user click on 'New User' in the menu to the left and
choose choose a username and password. Re-enter the same password then click <create account>.
Register as either a smoker, health professional or hospital/agency, as follows:

Smoker: This is for an individual smoker who wishes to be
smokefree
-
Health professional: This is for doctors or other health
professionals (nurses, quit specialists, psychologists, counsellors, fitness
consultants, physiotherapists, personal trainers, life coaches etc) who have
patients or clients who wish to stop smoking. Special rates apply for multi
licence packs.

Hospital or agency: This is for hospitals, quit groups,
education bodies, institutions or businesses who have a requirement for a
smoking cessation programme for their clinics, staff, patients, clients,
students. Special rates for multiple licence packs apply.
Complete your details including name, address and email address. If you wish to receive SMS text support enter your mobile phone number. Your 'screen name' is your "nickname" for both the smokestop programme and the smokestop live chat, so it should not be your full name.
The enrolment details are for monitoring the smokestop programme and may be used for statistical purposes in a non identifiable manner. Read and agree to the standard terms then click <register your account details>.
NOTE: if your health professional, clinic or quit line has already provided you with your licence, username and password on the home page click on <login> as you are already registered as a user. After logging in complete the personal details page. To receive full support (email and SMS text) ensure that you have entered your email address and mobile phone number correctly. Your pre-allocated licence will be ready for you to <start> on the 'your smokestop' page once you have logged in.
Click on 'Purchase' and then choose your licence and add it to the shopping
cart. Select 'Buy Now' and enter your credit card details including number,
expiry date and name.
Payment is made by means of a (128bit encrypted) secure transaction using a
secure socket layer (see Trust logo), which is the highest level of encryption
available, and the same as banks use. Alternatively you can pay by completing and
printing out the fax order sheet. This must then be faxed to actionpact +64 9 5299305.
Once your payment has been confirmed, your licence will be activated and you will receive
email notification of your order and a receipt. Instructions will be provided on the
emailed receipt with a link to use to go straight to your licence page, from where you
will have full access to the software online, from any computer with an internet connection.

To start smokestop log-in with
your username and password. You can access your user details and make any
changes to these at any stage. If you forget your password, go to log-in screen
and click on 'lost your password?'.
